Driving Innovation at HiPEAC and ICFO: A Week of Insights and Collaboration

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in the HiPEAC 2025 Conference as sponsors and exhibitors, followed by a showcase at the The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) in Barcelona, Spain. Both experiences reinforced our commitment to innovation and collaboration in the fields of computing systems and research applications.

As proud sponsors of HiPEAC, we showcased our latest solutions such as the Quantum LEGO Learning Lab and our portable measurement station setup. The event was also a great platform for engaging with professionals, researchers, and technology enthusiasts, while also exploring cutting-edge advancements in computing systems and architecture.

  • Engaging Keynotes: We attended insightful sessions that explored the future of computing and its role in tackling global challenges.

  • Interactive Workshops: From accelerators to edge computing, we deepened our knowledge by participating in workshops and research presentations.

  • Networking and Collaboration: We engaged with top experts from both academia and industry, fostering new partnerships and future opportunities. One example is our support of AMD's Open Hardware Competition, for which we are offering free equipment for competitors.

Visit to ICFO

On Friday, we visited ICFO to showcase the Quantum LEGO Learning Lab and learn more about how Red Pitaya is being utilized in their groundbreaking research.

  • Product Presentation: We demonstrated Red Pitaya’s capabilities to ICFO’s research teams, emphasizing its role in advancing their projects.

  • Exploring Use Cases: We gained a deeper understanding of how Red Pitaya aids scientific advancements at ICFO. Particularly enlightening was the tour led by José Carlos Cifuentes of ICFO's eWorkshop, where they develop systems for photonics experiments.

  • Collaborative Discussions: Meaningful conversations with ICFO experts helped identify new opportunities for collaboration.

  • Feedback and Insights: Constructive feedback from researchers will help us refine our product to better meet the needs of the scientific community.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand at HiPEAC and to our colleagues at ICFO for the enriching discussions. We look forward to building on these experiences and continuing to drive innovation together!
