We are happy to share some exciting news – Red Pitaya has been chosen as a finalist in not just one, but two categories at the highly prestigious Elektra Awards 2023: Test Product of the Year and Educational Support Award.
The Elektra Awards stand as a beacon of recognition in the global electronics industry, celebrating outstanding companies and individuals for their remarkable achievements, innovation, and contributions. The evaluation process is orchestrated by a panel of esteemed industry experts, carefully selected by Electronics Weekly.
This year, we find ourselves in the spotlight as finalists in two distinct categories:
We've taken our already high-performing board with 2 inputs and 2 outputs and given it a remarkable makeover.
The result is the STEMlab 125-14 4-Input, a product that introduces substantial improvements over its predecessor (STEMlab 125-14). This revamped board has four inputs operating at 125 MSPS with 14-bit resolution, providing a significant boost in data acquisition capabilities. With noise reduction, a powerful Xilinx Zynq 7020 SoC, and more digital IO pins, it's a significant upgrade while retaining our hallmark open-source programmability and web applications.
Red Pitaya has consistently been a frontrunner when it comes to teaching tools for electrical engineering and programming. Our FPGA-powered boards not only replace a vast array of costly equipment found in electrical engineering laboratories but also empower students to embark on their unique projects and take their first steps toward becoming proficient engineers.
In a collaboration in 2023, we partnered with DigiKey and UCSD's EnVision Maker Studio to introduce the Hackathon-In-A-Box kit. This kit is set to revolutionize your hackathon experiences, providing students with a comprehensive suite of essential tools needed to tackle even the most complex design projects.
The Hackathon-In-A-Box kit is a tried-and-tested solution that's already left its mark at several university hackathons. Dive into our blog post, A Hackathon at UCSD, where we take you behind the scenes of a hackathon experience.
Our purpose is to empower students, make them creative, and provide them with the necessary tools to create something extraordinary.
The winners will be unveiled on the evening of Wednesday, November 29th, at the illustrious Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
