Development of a laser spectroscopy test bench for quantum cascade lasers

Red Pitaya was used in a project: Development of a laser spectroscopy test bench for quantum cascade lasers.

This report focuses on the development of a test bench for quantum cascade lasers, that provides a simple and efficient method of evaluating the laser's sustainability, specifically for the LiMAx test. The primary control- and measurement device used for this application is the STEMlab Red Pitaya 125-10. Hereby the Red Pitaya controls the laser with high-frequency PWM-signals and voltage settings as well as acquisition of detector values and other sensor data. A laser spectroscopy test bench has been successfully developed, that provides an easy and inexpensive method for testing the applicability of quantum cascade lasers for the LiMAx test.
